Holocaust Museum Houston is located at 5401 Caroline St., in the heart of the Houston Museum District.

The Museum is located approximately one block north of Binz, or Bissonnet, and two blocks east of Fannin. The cross-streets are Calumet and Prospect.

From the Downtown Area:
Proceed south on Fannin, and take a left on Binz. Go two blocks and take a left at Caroline. The next stop is at Calumet. The Museum is on the corner of Calumet and Caroline, on the right-hand side.

From the Medical Center:
Take Fannin northbound until it becomes San Jacinto and continue to Binz. At Binz, take a right, and at the next stop, take a left into Caroline. The next stop is at Calumet. The Museum is on the corner of Calumet and Caroline, on the right-hand side.

From Interstate 59 North (Southbound): (Kingwood, Livingston, Humble)
Proceed south, take the Fannin exit straight into Fannin. Keep going south and take a left on Binz. Go two blocks to Caroline and take a left. The next stop is at Calumet. The Museum is on the corner of Calumet and Caroline, on the right-hand side.

From Interstate 59 South (Northbound): (Corpus Christi, Victoria, Sugar Land, Southwest Houston)
Proceed north toward Downtown/Museum District. Take the Main Street exit. At the traffic lights, take a right onto Main. Continue south to Binz (near the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston). At Binz, take a left. Travel three blocks and take a left at Caroline. The next stop is at Calumet. The Museum is on the corner of Calumet and Caroline, on the right-hand side.

From Interstate 45 North (Southbound): (Dallas, Conroe, Woodlands, Intercontinental Airport)
Take Interstate 59 southbound and take the Fannin exit straight into Fannin. Continue south and take a left on Binz. Travel two blocks and take a left onto Caroline. The next stop is at Calumet. The Museum is on the corner of Calumet and Caroline, on the right-hand side.

From Interstate 45 South (Northbound): (Galveston, Hobby Airport, NASA,
Clear Lake)
Proceed north on Interstate 45 and exit onto Interstate 59 southbound. Take the Fannin exit straight onto Fannin. Continue south and take a left on Binz. Go two blocks and take a left at Caroline. The next stop is at Calumet. The Museum is on the corner of Calumet and Caroline, on the right-hand side.

From Highway 288 South (Northbound):
Proceed north on Highway 288 and take the Calumet Street exit. At the traffic lights, take a left onto Binz. Proceed to Caroline Street and take a right. The next stop is at Calumet. The Museum is on the corner of Calumet and Caroline, on the right-hand side.

From Highway 288 North (Southbound):
Proceed south on Highway 288 and take the Southmore/Calumet Street exit. Take a right at Calumet. The Museum is located on the corner of Calumet and Caroline.

From Interstate 10 West (Eastbound): (Austin, San Antonio, West Houston)
Take Interstate 10 to Loop 610 West and then take Loop 610 South. From Loop 610 South, take Interstate 59 northbound toward Downtown/Museum District. Take the Main Street exit. At the traffic lights, take a right onto Main. Continue south to Binz (near the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston). At Binz, take a left. Travel three blocks and take a left at Caroline. The next stop is at Calumet. The Museum is on the corner of Calumet and Caroline, on the right-hand side.

From Interstate 10 East (Westbound): (New Orleans, Baytown)
Take Interstate 10 to Interstate 59 and proceed south. Take the Fannin exit straight onto Fannin. Continue south and take a left on Binz (near the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston). Go two blocks and take a left into Caroline. The next stop sign is at Calumet. The Museum is on the corner of Calumet and Caroline, on the right-hand side.

 
Hours and Admission
 
The Museum is open to the public seven days a week.

Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday, Noon to 5 p.m.


The Laurie and Milton Boniuk Resource Center and Library is open to the public from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and noon to 5 p.m. on Saturday. The Library is closed Sundays.

The Museum is closed for Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, Easter Sunday, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. For other holiday hours, visit the "Events" tab on the Museum’s Web site at www.hmh.org.

Effective April 15, 2014, admission rates for Holocaust Museum Houston will change. Please note the new rates:

Children under age 6 FREE
Students age 6-18 FREE
College-level with valid school ID FREE
Seniors age 65+ $8
Active-Duty Military $8
General Admission $12

Holocaust Museum Houston is free each Thursday from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and on Memorial Day (May 25, 2015), D-Day (June 6, 2015), Kristallnacht (Nov. 9, 2015) and International Holocaust Remembrance Day (Jan. 27, 2015).

Tours
 
Docent-led tours can be scheduled for schools and groups of 10 or more. Tours are available in Spanish, English and French. To arrange a docent-led tour, please call Visitor Services at 713-942-8000, ext. 302 or submit the form below.

Guided tours are available for all visitors on Saturday and Sunday. Weekend tours run at 12:30 p.m., 1:30 p.m., 2:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.
