Help Conserve Our Collections by Adopting an Artifact at HMH

Artifacts support the mission of Holocaust Museum Houston and play an important role in teaching against the dangers of hatred, prejudice and apathy. Conservation and preservation are necessary to protect the Museum's collections for future generations.Adopt an Artifact

As a visitor to Holocaust Museum Houston, you may have toured our permanent exhibit and seen first-hand the concentration camp uniform worn by a Houston-area survivor of the Holocaust, stepped inside our 1942 railcar of the type used to transport Jews to the concentration camps, or viewed the 1942 Danish boat like those used to save more than 7,500 Jews from execution.

By adopting an artifact, you help support Holocaust Museum Houston in the preventative care and treatment of all objects in our collection and helping to ensure their long-term preservation.

Adopting an artifact is a unique way to get involved with the Museum and help provide the financial funding needed to continue our mission to Stop Hate. Starting Here.

All Adopt-An-Artifact gifts will be acknowledged with:

  • One 5- inch by 7-inch glossy artifact card highlighting one special object from Holocaust Museum Houston’s collection

  • One Holocaust Museum Houston magnet

For gifts of more than $1,000, donors will be offered a “behind the scenes” tour of our permanent collection with the Director of Collections and Exhibitions.
