Holocaust Museum Houston offers a variety of resources to help students learn about the Holocaust.
Use our Web site to listen to Holocaust survivor testimonies, study research topics and find quick answers to common questions.

Want to know more about the Holocaust and other genocides? Although the subject matter can be difficult, the Holocaust and other genocides are important topics to research. Click here for suggested resources to help you with your research goals.	An "upstander" is someone who takes action on behalf of others. Holocaust Museum Houston is pleased to introduce a new scholarship for seniors that honors the memory of those who perished during the Holocaust. The scholarship is being presented as a part of the Museum’s work to develop a citywide commemoration of Yom HaShoah for victims of the Holocaust.


Join the Butterfly Project and Help Complete Our Exhibition	Research Topics at the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum	Hear Survivor Stories on "Testimonies from the Holocaust"

Want to do your part to help commemorate the lives of children who perished during the Holocaust? Join the Butterfly Project - as an individual or as a group project - and send us a handmade butterfly to remember one of the 1.5 million children who perished during the Holocaust.	The U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, D.C., offers numerous topics for student research along with helpful resources on its Web site. Visit this site for information on the events of the Holocaust, antisemitism, Jewish life in Europe before the Holocaust and the Nazi rise to power.	Check out "Testimonies from the Holocaust," our database of videotaped testimonies dedicated to preserving the history of the Holocaust, our Houston-area Holocaust survivors and of Holocaust Museum Houston through oral interviews and historical documentation. The system concentrates on rare testimonials from Houston-area Holocaust survivors.

Tours

Docent-led tours can be scheduled for schools and groups of 10 or more. Tours are available in Spanish, English and French. To arrange a docent-led tour, please call Visitor Services at 713-942-8000, ext. 302 or submit the form below.

Guided tours are available for all visitors on Saturday and Sunday. Weekend tours run at 12:30 p.m., 1:30 p.m., 2:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.
