Hold your next diversity workshop, business group meeting, professional group meeting or other event at one of the city's most educational event venues. Your guests will have the advantage of touring the Museum's varied exhibits to learn how they can help Stop Hate. Starting Here.

Docent-led tours can even be provided for meeting guests to accentuate the Museum experience, but must be booked at least two weeks in advance.

Facilities available for use include:

The Avrohm I. Wisenberg Classrooms
The classrooms have a combined seating capacity of 60 people and may be divided into two rooms of 30 people each. The layout of the room has tables and chairs facing front, with a podium and blackboards on either side.

The Albert and Ethel Herzstein Theater
The 102-seat theater shows the films “Voices I” and “Voices II” alternatively. The films are each a 30-minute compilation of oral testimony of Houston Holocaust Survivors. Part of the Museum area, the theater may only be rented during non-Museum hours.

The lobby can hold up to 200 people comfortably for cocktail-styled events.

Please note: The Museum follows strict food policies. Only dairy items or fish are permitted. No meat items or poultry may be served unless it is kosher. No pork products or shellfish are ever allowed.

Hours and Admission
 
The Museum is open to the public seven days a week.

Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday, Noon to 5 p.m.


The Laurie and Milton Boniuk Resource Center and Library is open to the public from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and noon to 5 p.m. on Saturday. The Library is closed Sundays.

The Museum is closed for Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, Easter Sunday, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. For other holiday hours, visit the "Events" tab on the Museum’s Web site at www.hmh.org.

Effective April 15, 2014, admission rates for Holocaust Museum Houston will change. Please note the new rates:

Members FREE
Children under age 6 FREE
Students age 6-18 FREE
College-level with valid school ID FREE
Seniors age 65+ $8
Active-Duty Military $8
General Admission $12

Holocaust Museum Houston is free each Thursday from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and on Memorial Day (May 25, 2015), D-Day (June 6, 2015), Kristallnacht (Nov. 9, 2014) and International Holocaust Remembrance Day (Jan. 27, 2015).

Tours
 
Docent-led tours can be scheduled for schools and groups of 10 or more. Tours are available in Spanish, English and French. To arrange a docent-led tour, please call Visitor Services at 713-942-8000, ext. 302 or submit the form below.

Guided tours are available for all visitors on Saturday and Sunday. Weekend tours run at 12:30 p.m., 1:30 p.m., 2:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.
