Each year, tens of thousands of visitors have access to the resources of Holocaust Museum Houston’s Laurie and Milton Boniuk Resource Center and Library.
From students to teachers to professional researchers examining the Holocaust and other genocides, HMH visitors can take advantage of more than 7,000 books and hundreds of DVDs and videos.
But we need your help to remain the premier source of Holocaust and genocide education in Texas. Our “wish list” currently includes dozens of titles often requested by students and researchers of the Holocaust. Books high on our list have won the prestigious Jewish Book Council’s National Jewish Book Award or are published by the esteemed Oxford University Press and written by authoritative experts in the field.
Your support will help place those titles on our shelves for future generations of readers and researchers.
By adopting a new book in the HMH library, you can help open a new chapter in teaching the dangers of hatred, prejudice and apathy by helping to expand our collection of historical material, fiction and non-fiction works.
All gift books will be acknowledged with a personalized bookplate on the inside front cover to:
- Leave your personal legacy…
- Memorialize or honor a loved one or friend for generations to come…
- Provide a personalized commemorative remembrance for anniversaries, birthdays, retirements or other significant life events…
- Support our mission of preserving and documenting the still unfolding story of the Holocaust…
It’s easy to adopt a book and “open a new chapter” at Holocaust Museum Houston…

Choose the “quick pick” option if you would just like to make a quick $25, $50 or $100 donation, rather than adopting a specific book. We’ll then select the most needed titles for our library. | |
